It's the most awkward thing that I can't stay away from. Actually, it's like a train wreck a lot of the time, but somehow in a good way.
You wonder what bumbling thing will be said next (and by whom), but more what Jim will do to Dwight, or what will happen with Jim and Pam.
the show you love to love

don't try this at home
Posted : 18 years, 1 month ago on 13 December 2006 04:17 (A review of MythBusters)...do it at your friend's house.
From the first show I saw, I couldn't get enough. These guys get to do what most of us want to try out. They've blown up stuff from vehicles to stomachs, sunk boats, floated into the air in a lawn chair... all in the name of science, and so we don't have to get hurt trying.

This got me hooked on 311
Posted : 18 years, 1 month ago on 13 December 2006 04:14 (A review of 311)I heard 'Down' on the radio (remember those days?), and went out and bought the CD. From there, I put it on repeat and listened for what seemed like weeks... and maybe it was.
311 is one of my favorite bands, and this is one of the best CDs I listen to (and still listen to, 11+ years later).

Read, repeat.
Posted : 18 years, 1 month ago on 13 December 2006 04:11 (A review of Snow Crash)I've read this more than any of the other books in my library (if I can call it that).
It's got meatspace, the metaverse (think Internet in 3D), weapons (swords, glass knives, and more "modern" fare), and a great stotyline that includes the tower of Babel. Watch out for bitmaps of static...

great start
Posted : 18 years, 1 month ago on 2 December 2006 09:47 (A review of The Matrix)This is one of my favorite movies, and I may be one of the only fans that likes all three movies. It's great because it can be looked at on the surface (great action and sci-fi), and if you want to look into it, there's plenty to go through (and argu about, if you're into that).
